The Common Room is a regular Anselm Society community gathering based on the “Scriptorium” events at Pusey House Oxford, and the older monastic tradition of setting aside special rooms for the copying of manuscripts.

This is an opportunity to set aside a day (or a significant portion of one) for study or creating, in the company of likeminded souls doing the same.

Whether you want to study, write, paint, or simply enjoy a quiet, dedicated space alongside fellow creatives, there is a spot for you.

What to Bring

• Your creative tools and materials

• Your own lunch (coffee and tea provided)

• Optional: A snack to share, or a $5 contribution toward share refreshments

• 12:00 PM | Lunch, gathering, and connection

• 1:00 PM | Opening prayer & dedicated quiet creative time

• 4:00 PM – 4:30 PM | Project sharing & closing prayer
