No Summer Quarterly Gathering: Here's Why

No Summer Quarterly Gathering: Here's Why

This summer, we won’t be hosting our usual quarterly gathering. While we hope to bring the Anselm community together once a quarter—to share stories and songs, to feast, to remember what we’re made for—this time we simply didn’t have the volunteer capacity to support the logistics such a gathering requires.

Because the Anselm Society is entirely volunteer-led, sustainability matters. We want to build something that lasts, with space for joy, creativity, and rest for those who give their time and talents behind the scenes.

Even as we pause this summer’s event, we’re hard at work shaping the foundations for future gatherings—developing teams and rhythms that will allow these moments of beauty and belonging to flourish, season after season.

If our gatherings have encouraged you... if you’ve found yourself laughing around a firepit, singing in a circle, or catching your breath at some sudden beauty—we invite you to be part of helping create that for others. Learn how to get involved here.

Thank you for being part of a community that seeks not only to enjoy truth and beauty, but to make it possible for others to do the same.

Although we will not have our quarterly gathering this summer, we are very excited about our upcoming Bombadil series, where we unpack C.R. Wiley's book In the House of Tom Bombadil, featuring the author himself. In this online series, we'll explore themes of Tolkien's imagination of stewardship through this enigmatic character. We hope to see you there!
