Have you ever wanted to try your hand at watercolor or plein air painting? Here is your chance!
Join us for a hands-on art workshop led by Anselm Guild artist Lisa Nowak at the beautiful Rock Ledge Ranch. Lisa is a talented Guild artist with a passion for nature journaling and encouraging others in their art.
We’ll spend the afternoon outdoors learning from Lisa some basics about using water color for plein air painting & nature journaling.
No prior experience is necessary—just bring your curiosity and a willingness to try something new.
Watercolor art supplies will be provided, along with drinks (water, sparkling water, and soda).
Please dress for the weather, and feel free to bring sunscreen, a hat, and anything else that will help you enjoy time outside.
We recommend bringing a camp chair and something firm to press on while you work, though you’re also welcome to sit on the ground or find a shady spot to settle in.
Kids are welcome to attend, but need to be able to participate and responsibly handle art supplies. We recommend kids 7 and older, but leave that to parent discretion.
This is a chance to connect with others, put our imaginations into practice, & enjoy the beautiful world we live in.
