Join us for an Anselm Society tradition. At the St. Patrick’s Pub Night, we’ll journey together to Ireland, with stories and poems filled with magic, hearty food and drink from Jack Quinn’s, and lots and lots of singing (some performed and most participatory).

How it’ll work: we’ve rented out “Jack’s Attic,” a lovely space upstairs with room for 100. Your cover charge gets you admission to the event; once there, you’ll order dinner for your party on a separate check just as if you were going out for dinner—but you get a nearly-free evening of live entertainment to go with it! We do have a contractual minimum to hit with the restaurant, so we ask that you honor the expectation that you order dinner.

Tickets for this event are sold out.

Information for ticketholders

Most important:

  • Location: you know we're at Jack Quinn's. But make sure you turn left when you enter and go UPSTAIRS!

  • Dinner: you're responsible for your own dinner and drinks. When you arrive, place orders at the upstairs bar and pick your favorite table! You can continue to order from the bar throughout the event.

  • Parking: downtown street parking can be tricky; we recommend using the parking garage half a block away. Here’s a Google Maps link.

Everything else:

  • Please do not arrive before 6pm as we'll still be setting up. The bartenders will start taking dinner orders at 6pm. For that first portion of the evening, you can enjoy conversation and food with live instrumental music from the Sweet Ayres.

  • The main program will begin closer to 7pm and will run a little over an hour. It will include musical performances, stories and poetry, and a great deal of participatory singing!
