An Anselm member church promotes its artists with a calendar project and raises funds for Rwandan church.

One of the Anselm Society's member churches makes supporting the artists in its congregation a priority. One example is their annual calendar.

The International Anglican Church (IAC) seeks to engage its congregation and artists in a dialogue about the relationship between art, creation, and faith. Out of that conversation has grown a beautiful liturgical calendar, featuring original art created by its artists. For the third year in a row, IAC is making it available for sale, with all profits going to IAC’s sister parish in Kibali, Rwanda.

Number Our Days: Liturgical Seasons Calendar 2022-2023

This calendar follows the ancient church year, which begins with the season of Advent (November 27, 2022) and ends with the final day of what's known as Ordinary Time (December 2, 2023). One of the artists featured is a Rwandan; the remaining nine are from IAC. Among them are three members of the Anselm Society Arts Guild.

“We often forget that all gifts, including time, come from God,” said Christa Issler, an IAC member who leads its Art & Faith ministry. “We’d love for you to join us in a journey of remembering that all of our days are God’s days and of reshaping our thoughts through the story of salvation woven into our annual calendar.”
