WHY: After its first two successful runs of Cats in 2014 and West Side Story in 2015, Village Arts of Colorado Springs is ready for its third season of community theatre in Colorado Springs! Village Arts of Colorado Springs invites you to our upcoming fun-filled production of Gilbert and Sullivan’s most popular comic opera, “The Pirates of Penzance, or The Slave of Duty.” Written in 1879, this colorful and fast-paced comedy has entertained generations and is still just as hilarious today! For grandparents, kids, and everyone in between, this is the perfect show for audiences of all ages!
