Join us for a chance to explore themes in the Marvel cinematic universe (Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, etc.) with our special guest, Baylor's Junius Johnson.

This will be a chance to spend time with Junius in a smaller-group setting--we'll start off with superheroes, and who knows where the conversation could go from there! Junius just finished a very interesting project on the Voyage of the Dawn Treader....

Space is limited. Don't wait! Patrons and member artists can register now. Non-member registration will be available if there are spaces remaining with one week to go before the event.

This evening will be free to Anselm patrons and member artists and their families, and $10 for non-members. It's easy and affordable to join! Learn how to become a member of the Anselm Society!

About our Guest

Junius Johnson is a scholar, freelance writer, and musician. His captivating conversation with us during his last visit kept an entire room on their toes as our ideas were challenged and strengthened.

Junius is assistant professor of historical theology at Baylor University. He previously taught sacred music at Yale Divinity School, where he was affiliated with our friends at the Rivendell Institute. But he's just as good talking Call of Duty, Halo, or Marvel as he is theology--especially when they weave together!
